If you’re new here, you might not already be aware that we’re a big fan of journaling in these parts. In fact, it’s one of our favourite ways to show a little self love.
Writing has long been recommended by counsellors and psychologists as a way to work through our emotions. And with Valentine’s Day coming up soon, I really wanted this particular challenge to be focused on self love.
Often we spend so much time giving love to others that we forget to leave any for ourselves. These journal prompts each explore the concept of self love and how we can be more accepting of who we are. The practice of using them each day also serves to carve out time that is just for us and no one else. So light a candle, put on some relaxing music and for the next 20 minutes or so, make sure it’s all about you!
By the end of the 28 days, you should have a better understanding of:
- What you love about yourself
- How to show yourself love
- How to reprogram your mind for self love
