Edinburgh is an absolute treat when it comes to brunch. The food scene in the Scottish capital is fantastic and they do breakfast particularly well. When it comes to bottomless brunch in Edinburgh though, there’s a slight catch…
Bottomless brunch is technically not allowed in Scotland. The country has legislation that prohibits irresponsible drink promotions. This includes promotions that can be see to reward or encourage drinking alcohol quickly.
Instead, you’ll find restaurants advertising ‘boozy brunches’. These are generally brunches which include a certain number of alcoholic drinks for an excellent price.
So, for the sake of this blog post, we might use the phrase ‘bottomless brunch’ here and there. Just know that they’re not technically ‘bottomless’. Don’t worry though – you’ll still get plenty of alcohol for a great deal (and some delicious food too!).
Here’s where you can get the very best bottomless brunch in Edinburgh!
Top Tip: a lot of bottomless brunches require you to book in at least 24 hours in advance, so make sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment!
