There’s a podcast for everything these days, from motherhood to true crime and everything in between. My very favourite podcasts though are the ones that leave me feeling motivated and inspired, the ones that get me to look at life in a new way or convince me to do things differently. I mean, who doesn’t need a little inspiration when their bum’s getting numb in rush hour traffic? Or when sitting at home twiddling their thumbs as the case may currently be.
But in all seriousness, these podcasts are my absolute favourites in the motivational and wellness sphere. They’re a great way to inject a bit of inspiration into an otherwise normal day, and I always finish listening to them feeling excited to implement new ideas and habits.
Rise & Conquer with Georgie Stevenson
One of the reasons I love this podcast so much is the host. I’ve followed Georgie for a while on Youtube and Instagram, so when she started a podcast I was super excited. She’s a health and fitness influencer, business owner and ex-lawyer, and shares all of her best tips on mindset, business, and beating diet culture. I love how down-to-earth she is and really resonate with a lot of her content.
The Goal Digger Podcast with Jenna Kutcher
The Goal Digger Podcast is for anyone with their own business or side hustle. Jenna is the digital marketing queen and her episodes are filled with actionable tips and tricks on how to build a successful business. She also does this in a way that’s super approachable and easy to understand for the average Joe. So much of what I’ve learnt about the online space has come from this podcast.
The Lavendaire Lifestyle with Aileen Xu
I first discovered Aileen via her Youtube channel, where she posts productivity and mindset videos to inspire and motivate. She’s particularly interested in helping people find a way to bring their dream lives into reality. Her podcast is an extension of this, where she brings on guests to speak about their own experiences and areas of expertise. This includes everything from mercury retrograde to building an audience to opening a brick-and-mortar store.
The Health Code with Sarah’s Day & Kurt Tilse
On The Health Code, fitness influencer Sarah and her photographer fiancé Kurt go through everything you need to know about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. From making excuses, to social media comparison to cravings – they answer every question you could possibly think of when it comes to the fitness world. I love the couple’s energy and how passionate they are about health and fitness. It definitely inspires me when I’m in the gym.
Happy Place with Fearne Cotton
Fearne Cotton uses Happy Place to talk to celebrities and experts about how they deal with frazzled feelings in today’s fast-paced, stressful world. She opens up a conversation about mental health, encouraging her interviewees to share their own experiences and asking them how they personally find happiness. Fearne’s personality comes across so well and she has a great lineup of guests.
Food for Thought with Rhiannon Lambert
Rhiannon is someone I really trust in the online space when it comes to food and diet. She’s a Harley Street nutritionist with her own practice who uses her online space to educate people about health and nutrition. Talking about topics from diet culture to veganism, she leads discussion without judgment and provides plenty of food for thought.
The Tim Ferriss Show with Tim Ferriss
Tim Ferris, author of The Four Hour Work Week, uses his podcast to interview a whole host of people, all of whom are at the top of their field. The guest list includes the likes of Neil Gaiman, Tony Robbins, Malcom Gladwell, and LeBron James (just to name a few). Ferriss interviews deconstructs these high-flyers tactics, tools, and routines, in order to uncover the things that have made them great.
Oprah’s Supersoul Conversations with Oprah
Supersoul Conversations does what it says on the tin – deep conversations with thought-leaders, authors and spiritual experts in an attempt to uncover the deeper meaning of the world around us. Maybe not for those who don’t love a bit of woo-woo but her guests certainly pack a punch: Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez, Cheryl Strayed & Deepak Chopra – Oprah doesn’t mess around!
So Money with Farnoosh Torabi
In So Money, Torabi interviews top business minds and authors to hear about their financial journeys and how they managed to master their money mindset. Each episodes takes you through the financial philosophies, habits, and learning moments of these inspiring individuals.
